Have I mentioned before that I love Holiday mini sets! My sister picked up the Too Faced - Beautifully Blushed & Bronzed Set at the same time as I picked up the Tarte Lipstick set. I am still on the fence about this set but I have a feeling it may come home with me during the Sephora sale at some point! The only product I have from this set is the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer which I got in the Sephora Favorities - Bronze Bares All from the summer. I am trying to decide if I want this set or the Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks set. I have 2 of the Melted Lipsticks in the later set but I really wanted to try out Fig. Not to mention that Kisses & Cheeks comes with 3 of the Too Faced Love Flush blushes! Decisions, decisions!
Anyway on to the contents of the Too Faced - Beautifully Blushed & Bronzed Set -
Chocolate Soleil Bronzer - medium to deep
Love Hangover - Perfect warm pink
Justify My Love - Bright pink with fine gold sparkle
Sun Bunny Bronzer - Satin suntan/rich satin bronze
These are minis, but I feel like they are a great size for trying out new priducts without picking up a full size.
Chocolate Soleil is a great bronzer for anytime of the year. It is matte so you can also use it to contour. I feel like it would work for light to medium skintones best. Sun Bunny does have some slight shimmer to is so it will give a touch of a sun-kissed glow, perfect for summer or when you are feeling like your skin could use a bit of a pick me up!
I was quite surprised at the pigmentation on these two blushes! I don't know what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised! Love Hangover is a great medium pink that would give you that just came in from the cold look to the cheeks. Whereas Justify My Love is a bright pink with slight shimmer to it that would give you a nice glow on the tops of your cheeks or all over really!
I am still undecided as to which Too Faced mini set I am going to pick up to try out the new blush formula but from the looks of this set either would be a good bet! I can't tell you yet how this blush formula wears, if it will last throughout my 12 hour workday but I will keep you posted!
I feel like this set is a great value for the price tag of $32 CAD, value of $70, especially if you are like me and have a 'few' blushes anyway. Who finishes a full size blush? These are 1/3 the size of a regular blush which is a great size, you can also fit a brush into these without to much trouble, in case you are wondering!
Have you tried out the new Too Faced Blushes? What are your thoughts on them?
