We have been having very Fall appropriate weather this past week. We barely made it into double digits during the day, and at night we were getting pretty close to 0C! I love it when its fresh like this though, I like to burn candles and sit with a warm drink and read. What do you like doing when the weather starts changing?
Since October is Breast Cancer awareness month I thought I would start of the month with some Breast Cancer nail art. Breast Cancer hits a little close to home for me, I know quite a few people who are survivors. If I see a product that supposts it I am easily swayed to buy it. There will most likely be quite a lot of pink themed nails for this month. Just a little way to show support to all the survivors and fighters. For this first week, I decided to start out small and just do the pink ribbon on my accent nail. It wasnt to hard, I used a dotter tool and just took my time. I used Morgan Taylor 'Ella Of A Girl' from the Cinderella Collection I showed you back in the Spring. It is a pale bubblegum pink creme that I can't believe I haven't worn yet! I also used China Glaze 'Snow' for my accent nail. Two coats of each followed by Seche Vite top coat, which by the way this will be my last week using as it is now starting to get stringy.
Last weeks NoTW lasted as well as Essie usually does, which is to say slight tip wear. I usually get asked what I am wearing whenever I use Essie "Chinchilly' and this time was no different. 'Chinchilly' is a great cooler weather polish that is a great neutral.
What is your go to nail color for Fall?
