I did some damage during the Sephora VIB Rouge sale this past weekend and things are starting to come in that I ordered online. I picked up a few of the Sephora Favorites sets again this year, they are just so many good ones this year! I thought I would give you a peek at them and whether or not I think they are worth picking up for this weekends VIB sale at Sephora.
The first one up is the Sephora Favorities - Soko To Tokyo skin care set. It says on the box 'The hottest beauty trends from South Korea to Japan. I have been interested in trying out a few of these products so having them all in one little set seemed like a great way to try them out without having to invest in full sizes. This set retails for $50 CAD and is said to have a $144 retail value, but during the sale you can pick it up for $40 CAD!!
Inside the box you get :
SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence - Facial Treatment Essence is enriched with more than 90 percent Pitera—the main ingredient used to enhance the skin's renewal process—plus nourishing vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and organic acids to promote a healthy skin cell renewal cycle. With daily application, this essence moisturizes, improves texture and clarity, and contributes to a more beautiful, balanced, and glowing complexion. I have read good things about this product, mainly that people have noticed a reduction in the size of their pores. I will let you know how it does, although it doesn't appear to be available on sephora.ca so I am unsure where to get it? This one is pricey at $99 USD for 2.5oz. Country of origin: Japan.
Skin Inc - Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask - This innovative sleep-in or rinse off transparent gel mask moisturizes, clarifies, and brightens the complexion. This triple-treat mask contains nutrient-rich Okinawa deepsea water, soya bean extracts, and hyaluronic acid for an easy-to-use, luxurious daily treatment for your skin. Great for use while traveling or on the go, it seals in nutrients from other skincare products for maximum results. I love trying out new masks! I have not heard much about this product so it will be interesting to see what it does! Another pricey item reatailing for $92 CAD for 1.7oz, you are getting 0.68oz in this set. Unfortantly the full size of this one comes in a tub, why can't everything come in a squeeze tube or with a pump?! Country of origin: Korea.
Erborian Korean Skin Therapy Crème Scrub Beautifying Exfoliating Pearls - Gentle enough for daily use, Crème Scrub is a gentle exfoliator made with innovative micro-pearls that transform into mini cleansing "sponges" upon contact with water. The small pearls flatten under fingertips and gently roll over the surface of the skin—eliminating impurities and dead skin cells—while the seven herb complex soothes. Skin looks more refined and luminous. This is another product I have heard nothing about, its always kind of fun trying stuff that you don't really know what to expect from. This one retails $35 CAD for 1.7 oz, you get 0.5oz in the set. Country of origin: Korea.
Boscia - Exfoliating Peel Gel - Get the benefits of a peel—without the harsh side effects. This peel gel acts as a physical peel to remove the outer layer of dead skin, as a chemical peel to penetrate deep into skin for in-depth exfoliation, and as a treatment to firm and brighten for a healthy complexion. It’s triple-activated to get the best results with outer exfoliation and chemical exfoliation deep within pores while a brightening treatment can penetrate deep into skin. It bonds together so you instantly feel outer layer of skin being fully exfoliated. After rinsing, it lets skin appear smoother, softer, and brighter-looking after a single use. I have been wanting to try facial 'peels' so I was quite happy that there are a few in this set. I have read good things about this one as well. This one retails for $42 CAD for 5 oz and you get 1 oz in the set. Country of origin: U.S.A.
Dr Jart+ - Premium BB Beauty Balm - A moisturizer and treatment serum, this all-in-one product also includes advanced brightening properties. Ideal under makeup, its natural-looking coverage minimizes the appearance of imperfections and evens the skintone. Antioxidant bio-peptides and adenosine protect skin from harsh environmental factors while restoring firmness and elasticity. Skin is left looking smooth, perfect, and natural. I was really looking forward to trying this out as I have been on the hunt for a light bb cream/tinted moisturizer to just throw on with my fingers when I am rushing out the door. Sadly this came in Medium-Deep, which isn't even available on the Canadian site! This will probably be to dark for me but I will give it a try when I don't have to go anywhere! This retails for $48 CAD for 1.5 oz which is a very reasonable price for that amount of product. Country of origin: Korea.
Amore Pacific - Treatment Enzyme Peel - This exfoliator helps brighten and even skintone without chemical abrasives. Natural papaya enzymes work to eliminate dry, dull surface cells and toxins to reveal a soft and smooth complexion. It improves penetration of other treatment products due to removal of dead surface cells. This is the product I am most excited to try out. I have heard so many good things about this one. I was hesitant to pick it up as a full size is $72 CAD for 2.5 oz and now I can try it out in a smaller size. Country of origin: Korea.
Dr Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream - This lightweight cream with the power of microcapsule ceramides hydrates the skin barrier from within, preventing chronic water loss. Dry, rough skin instantly becomes plumped with all-day, time-release moisture. It enhances the skin’s natural strength and function for smoother, softer skin. I have a feeling that this will be great for this coming winter when/if my skin goes back to its regular dry as the sahara state! This one is $60 CAD for 1.6 oz and you get 0.2 oz in the set. Hopefully its enough to know whether or not it works with my skin! Country of origin: Korea.
Belif - The True Cream-Aqua Bomb - Aqua Bomb is an ultra-lightweight, mineral oil-free gel-cream that instantly cools and refreshes skin while providing intensive hydration. This formula contains a blend of apothecary herbs, including antioxidant-rich lady's mantle, which helps neutralize skin-damaging free radicals, improves skin elasticity, and minimizes the appearances of pores. This refreshing cream is formulated to 'burst' when applied, releasing a flood of weightless moisture onto skin, and then absorb completely for a healthy, smooth, supple appearance. Another moisturizer which is not showing on Sephora.ca, I am pretty sure I saw it in store though? I will have to check and update this post the next time I go into Sephora. This one retails for $22 USD for 0.68oz and you get 0.34 in the set. Country of origin: Korea.

I am not going to take them literally and use everything all at once! I can not see as doing 3 peels one after the other being good for your skin! Correct me if I am wrong! I thought it was somewhat interesting that they supplied you with the country of origin on the back of the box to, Korea-5, Japan-2 and USA-1, in case you are interested!
All in all I think this is set well worth picking up if you can find it in store, or if it comes back in stock online. It is a great value for your money even if you can't pick it up during the sale. If any of these products interest you, or you are just looking to try out a few new things I say grab it if you can.
I will start testing out these products and will hopefully give you a 'review' of each one on after trying it out for at least a week of steady use. Is there any product inparticular you are interested in seeing my thoughts on first? Let me know.
