NoTW For November 15, 2015

Another week down, another week closer to Christmas!  The radio station I usually listen to in the car, 103.1 Fresh FM, has started to play Christmas music all the time as of Saturday I think.  At least that's when I noticed it.  It's far to early to be playing Christmas music all day everyday with nothing else in between!  The week went by far to quickly for me, I did manage to get a few things checked off my list of things to do though.  And my nails lasted great!

For this week I decided to use the other CND Vinylux polish that I picked up.  It is CND VInylux in 'Tinted Love' #153.  'Tinted Love' is a beautiful dark burgundy/red shade, perfect for Fall!  I found the application of 'Tinted Love' to be far better than that of 'Winter Glow' from last week.  It went on a lot more pigmented and only needed 2 coats.  With only needing 2 coats the polish seemed to dry a lot quicker and I was able to get going onto other things.  I am hoping that the CND Vinylux claims of not staining your nails without using a basecoat are true.  This is the type of shade that is almost guaranteed to stain your nails.  I will let you know how that fairs next week.  Sorry for the less than great picture this week, but it is starting to get dark fairly early now so I had to take this picture in my kitchen.

Last weeks NoTW, my first try of the CND VInylux Weekly Polish, went fairly well.  I was quite hard on my nails last week, mudding and sanding walls, dishes most everyday.  The CND VInylux held up great!  I did notice the morning after doing my nails that I had somehow scratched my thumb nail, it was almost like the polish hadn't set yet.  I am happy to say that I had no more wear or chipping from where I had scratched a layer off.  I had very minimal chipping on my pointer finger, that is shocking to me.  I am not so sure much else could have held up as well.  I found that it was easy to remove the polish using plain old regular nail polish remover, I did have to use a bit more pressure than usual but nothing to strenuous!

I did some damage during the Sephora sale and should have last Sephora Favorite set up this week.  Along with a few other things I managed to pick up in my travels, FYI, one of them is another deal that is better than buying full size!  I love it when that happens.  Don't you?
