NoTW for June 29, 2015

I hope your week was a good one and you were able to keep dry!  It was been very wet around London lately, including my basement.  Our basement flooded a week ago and we are now in the process of cleaning up and deciding what to put down.  Did you get a lot of rain where you are?  Any water damage for you?

On to what I decided to put on my nails this week for upcoming Canada Day.  I thought I would do something simple with some nail art stickers from Dollarama.  I did not quite realize that the stickers had a raised gem on them, not to sure how that will last through daily wear.  I am hoping that even if the gems come off that the red maple leaves stay.

I used China Glaze 'Snow' for the white and OPI 'Coca Cola Red' that I had a mini of from the Coca Cola collection last year.  I think that this red is a perfect true red and matches the red maple leaves perfectly.

Last weeks NoTW.

Last weeks NoTW.

Last weeks nail art fared ok I guess.  I wasn't to happy with the way the polish wore for me.  It seemed to almost start fading/rubbing off mid week, I also noticed some cracking with the lighter color.  I am thinking that the tip wear I had was do to so many coats of polish there.  I will try out another polish from Sally Hansen without doing nail art to see how it fares that way.  Maybe 'Pacific Blue' that my sister my sister gave me and  informs me it is the original one, not the new one.

Do you have any plans for Canada Day?  The weather network is so far saying we will be having a wet one around here.  I am working Canada Day as well as the day after so the most celebrating I will be doing is my nails!  Hope you have a great week!
