I felt like I won the lottery when I got the confirmation email that I had indeed been fast enough to snag one of the Sephora Epic Rewards. I had an order of what I would like to redeem for and the Becca X Jaclyn Hill Luminizing Collection was my first pick. I have a mini of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal that was in the Sephora Favorites - Bronze Bares All kit, it is a really pigmented hi lighter that I have to be careful with, I am a tad to old to go around looking like a disco ball! I was a little hesitant to post about getting the reward as I know a lot of people are quite upset about not getting them, I think that Sephora did not have near enough rewards for the amount of people trying to get them. I figured I would show this so you can see that 'regular' people did get lucky.
When I opened the outer box this is what was inside. They really paid attention to detail and made it like I was getting a present complete with a letter stating what was in the package.
It was a nice touch to have the letter congratulating me for getting the Becca reward with a list of the products included.
When I took of the wrapping paper and opened the box I found this Becca bag inside filled with the products.
Here are the contents of the bag -
Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed Opal
Mineral Blush in Wild Honey
Shimmering Skin Perfector IN Champagne Pop
The One Perfecting Brush
Under Eye Brightening Corrector
Face Chart showing how to use the products.
I was quite impressed with how they packaged the Reward, I have seen a few pictures of the other Rewards and they all came packaged the same way, which I think was a nice touch. Is there anything you would like to me to review first? Compare?
Now on to the little haul....I kind of failed at my no/low buy. But it started off as not really failing! I was checking the Sephora site to see if either of my other 2 exemptions became available to Canada and found the Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette and the Everlasting Face Shaper Blush from the Chrysalis Palette set that I wanted in the Sale section!! The Chrysalis Palette was on for $40 CAD and the Blush was $16 CAD. The set I was wanted was $78 CAD and included the palette, a blush, Immortal Lash Mascara and I think it was called Inked liner? I really didn't need another mascara and I already own the Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown. So I kind of placed an order for the palette and 2 blushes, Por Vida and Heartagram, but it was still cheaper than the set so that was ok right? It came to $72 CAD + tax. I saved some money there!
And than everyone in the Canadian Beauty Bloggers (CBB) was chatting about the newest Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip set that had just become available on the Canadian site and it was so pretty! Also the new Bite Beauty 250 point perk that had the Limited Edition shade for August in it. I saw the swatches and figured I would maybe pick it up after Imats, than they were both sold out in a matter of 2 hours! That made me want them even more. I was going to Sephora with my sister as she was looking for the new Anastasia palette, World Traveller, and there was only 1 of the Lip sets in stock....so you know what happened! They also had the Bite Point perk so I had to buy something to get that to!
The packaging is so cute for the Sephora Favorites, it included a full size of the Tarte Peach Blossom, the rest are deluxe minis. The Bite set included a mini lip stick, gloss and mirror! I will do swatches once I have a chance to use all my new goodies as this is already a very picture/text heavy post.
What would you like to see first? Does anything interest you? I am going to 'try' not to succumb to any more products until Imats. Only 6 weeks to go, I better start getting my wishlist ready.
