This week has been a crazy, busy week at work. Whicih in some ways is a good thing as the time goes by fairly quickly, but it also means that another week has gone by! My Birchbox for September came in fairly quickly which is nice!
Septembers Birchbox came in a cute box that had the phrase ' psst...you're beautiful' on the front. I think the boxes are really cute and can't wait to figure out something to do with them! Septembers Birchbox marks Birchboxs 5th year Anniversary. That's not to bad for a subscription box! They have only been available in Canada since December of 2014 though.
In this month's box I received -
100% Pure - Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream - An instant pick-me-up that reduces the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. I am looking forward to trying out this eye cream to see if it works, those are my 2 main issues and I am always looking for something to help with them.
Briogeo - Blossom & Bloom Volumizing Blow Dry Spray - This ginseng and biotin-infused spray stimulates follicles and encourages healthy growth. I am not looking to get volume from my hair so I may pass this on to my sister, it smells really good though!
Cynthia Rowley Beauty - Liquid Liner - Cobalt -From the fashion designer's makeup line; an ultraprecise, smudgeproof liner in a rich cobalt blue. This one will be fun to try out, I am pretty stuck on my Kat VOn D liner though!
POP Beauty - POP portfolio Eyeshadow Trio - Sugar Plum - A trifecta of long-wearing, blendable eyeshadows in bold, pigmented purples. I have another trio from POP beauty and while they are OK shadows, I have quite a few others I like better. I may pass this one as well.
Tocca - Creme da Man - Loaded with natural oils, this grapefruit and cucumber lotion absorbs in a flash. I have not heard much about this hand cream but am looking forward to using this up!
Not to bad of a box! I think it had a good mix of makeup, hair and bodycare this month. While I won't use everything in this months box, I do know of family members who will use what I won't. I still think that the US boxes look to have a better selection and I hope that soon they will start to equal them out. I will be keeping my subscription for another few months as I still haven't found anything else to give a try to. Any recommendations?
