Here is another of the Morgan Taylor mini sets I found on a recent trip into CosmoProf. When I saw this in Cosmo Prof I immediately thought that they were perfect Fall colours! Honky Tonk Honeys is a part of the Fall collection 'Urban Cowgirl'. I am quite the fan of Morgan Taylor minis as you may already be aware of. They are just about the only mini polish that I have tried that the brush and formula seem to be compareable to their full size counterpart.
In the Honky Tonk Honeys kit you get :
A Touch Of Sass is a very pigmented deep red creme that could easily be a one-coater.
Plum Tuckered Out is deep dark purple creme that could also be a one-coater.
Tex'as Me Later is a pinky shimmer colour that was not the best I have tried. You can see that it is showing brush strokes as well as ridges on my index finger.
Pumps or Cowboy Boots? is a beautiful deep chocolate brown creme that was could also have been a one coater.
I love all the creme polishes in this set, they are all very Fall appropriate. The cremes all went on well, nicely pigmented but still showing their true colours. I like 'Tex'as Me Later' as well but it will take some work to not have brush strokes so maybe this one would be better as an accent nail.
What do you think of Morgan Taylor 'Honky Tonk Honeys'? Fall colours to you as well?
I am prepping, priming and painting 2 bedrooms this week so I won't be doing a NoTW this week as I just don't have the time. I will hopefully be back to doing one next week with some more BCA nail art.
Last weeks NoTW lasted well, especially considering I had prepped and primed 1 bedroom before I took this picture! Next week when I do my nails I will be using a new top coat as the Seche Vite is just to thick now. Not sure which I will start to use-Glisten & Glow H K Girl, OPI, or Julep. Any recomendations?
