Finally writing about something besides Trash and Boxy Charm! I picked up the Eye Studio Sampler Black Friday weekend last year during a Shoppers Drug Mart Bonus Redemption weekend, along with a lot of other stuff that hasn't seen the light of day! I figured it was way past time to start trying out these mascaras, I am not sure if the coupon to redeem for a full size has an expiry or not. I had originally planned on letting my daughter get the full size mascara but than I ended up getting her another set that had one that she liked. There are 2 in this sampler set that I know I like already, so I know that I will be able to get a full size of something! Who knows maybe I will find one that I like better?
Inside you get 7 deluxe size mascaras and this one had a mini of Benefits Gimme Brow. The mascaras in this set are Artdeco-All In One, Benefit-Gimme Brow, Benefit-Roller Lash, Clarins-Supra Volume, Clinique-Chubby Lash, Lancome-Hypnose Drama, Smashbox-FUll Exposure, and Smashbox-X-Rated. I thought it would be good to try them each out for at least a week, writing down my thoughts on each one, and than decide which one to redeem the coupon for.
I had high hopes for this mascara, I love natural bristle brush mascaras! If you are a fan of a dry formula mascara, this is one of those. I was only able to try this one out for a week before I found it was to dry to use anymore. I think because of that it really wasn't that voluminzing at all. When I wore this my lashes were fairly natural looking, which I liked. I had no issues with smudging or flaking throughout a 10 hour day which is another great point about this mascara. I have been having a lot of issues with mascara smudging onto my lower lash line lately, to the point were I haven't put mascara on my lower lash line in ages. Because this one didn't smudge I would be interested in trying it out again, but the dryness of the formula makes me not want to pick up another tube.
I gave this mascara a 3 out of 5.
Maybe my tube had dried out some and that's why it was so dry? Have you tried the Artdeco - All In One mascara? Was it really dry?
