Time for the third instalment of my review on the mascaras/brow product in the Shoppers Drug Mart - Eye Studio Sampler! As I had said in my previous posts, I am not sure if there is an expiry date on the coupon for the free mascara of my choice or not. If you want to see my thoughts on the Artdeco - All In one Mascara, you can find it here and the Benefit - Gimme Brow is here. There is a new Eye Studio Sampler for 2017, this set contains 7 mascaras as well, but instead of the Benefit - Gimme Brow it has a Stila Eye liner, another great product! If you are interested in seeing what is in the Eye Studio Sampler for 2017, you can check out Stash Matters Epic SDM Haul! It is out of stock online, but if you are interested, try your local SDM!
Inside the box you get 7 mascaras, and 1 Benefit - Gimme Brow, all in deluxe sample size. I love mini mascaras though, I am not the best at remembering when I opened a mascara, so I am sure that I have used full size mascaras past the recommended 3 month period. The deluxe sample sizes last me, if I like it a couple months. Which for me, who seems to have some-timers, (I forgot things sometimes!) is great! That way I am not using an old mascara. You are getting well known brands, Clarins, Lancome, Smashbox, Clinique, Benefit and, for me at least, a lesser known brand in Artdeco.
Next up we have Benefit - Roller Lash.
It's a roller for lashes! The eye-opening Hook 'n' Roll brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls...while the instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours.
Curl Power! 97% said it visibly lists lashes*/ 87% said it gives long-lasting curl*/ 94% said eyes look more wide open*.

Another mascara that I have used in the past and liked, if I remember correctly! I have found that when use benefit - Roller Lash that I don't necessarily need to use a lash curler to get a curl in my lashes! The small plastic bristles on the brush are able to grab hold of my lashes and give them some curl/lift. The formula on the mascara is able to hold the curl fairly well as well. I do find that my lashes stay more 'lifted' looking if I use a lash curler before though. I do get a far amount of length and volume from this mascara as well. It isn't a waterproof formula but I don't find that I get smudging unless my eyes water, than I will get a bit of smudging. The benefit Roller Lash does seem to take a bit more work to remove, I find that I do need to hold the cotton pad for a minute or so on my lashes to more easily get the mascara off. Not a bad thing though, as I will happily do this if it is what it takes to not have racoon eyes before the end of the work day!
For me, the benefit Roller Lash Mascara gets a 4.5 out of 5 because of the bit of smudging and the bit more of time that it takes to remove it.
Have you tried benefit - Roller Lash? What were your experiences with it?
