Some Add-On Gifts from Farlyco

December 20, 2017 Sandie
Just a small sampling of what you can find at Farlyco!

Just a small sampling of what you can find at Farlyco!

I know I am late getting a post up on gifts that you can pick up, especially with Christmas less than a week away!  But not only can you find these gifts online at Farlyco.ca, you can also head to your local drug store (Rexal PharmaPlus, IDA, Shoppers Drug Mart ,Lawtons, etc).  These are great little add ons, stocking stuffers, or a treat for yourself!

Just a few of the many different kinds of 7th Heaven Masques.

Just a few of the many different kinds of 7th Heaven Masques.

We will start this off with 7th Heaven Masks.  I was sent 2 charcoal masks from 7th Heaven, the Charcoal Masque and the Charcoal Peel-Off.  I haven't used a charcoal mask from 7th Heaven before, but I am sure there are just as great as all the others I have tried.  What I like about the 7th Heaven Masks is that they are very generous with the amount that they give you in the package.  I can usually get at least 2 uses and most times 3 out of it.  I always have some small empty container hanging around.  I will usually squeeze the package into my container and than apply to my face from there, with a handy foundation brush!  You than seal it up and use the remainder the next time you are wanting to do a mask.  The price on the 7th Heaven masks are great as well, they regularly retail for approx $1.99 CAD, so if you are like me and can get 2 out of the package, that equals to $1 CAD a mask, not to bad!  You could easily head to the dollar store and grab a cute container and gift a couple of these, that way your recipient has someplace to store the excess!  Retail for $1.99 CAD each.

Flexitol, may be a winter chapped lip saviour!

Flexitol, may be a winter chapped lip saviour!

Flexitol Lip Balm for severely dry lips looks like it could be a lip saviour for the upcoming cold, dry months!  It is a thicker consistency than your usual lip balms, which for me is exactly what I like to use at night.  I find that using a nice thick balm/mask at night gives my lips that extra boost of moisture that is sorely needed.  It would be great, I think, for when you invariably get a cold and end up sleeping with your month open to breathe!  If I end up with a stuffy nose I always end up waking up with lips like the Saraha, dry and sore.  It does have a slight medicinal scent, which I don't mind, that kind of tingles/cools a bit when you first put it on.  Retails for $5.49 CAD.

What beauty lover wouldn't love to get a new brush for the Holidays?!  I have heard that the Ecotools brushes are great.  I love getting and trying out new brushes! I have fairly dark undereyes so I need to use a corrector and concealer when I put on makeup to cover up those bad boys!  The EcoTools Micro Blending brush is the perfect size and shape to get my corrector in all the nooks and lines that are under my eyes.  It is so soft as well, I was worried when I first looked at the brush that it would be stiff and scratchy, but its not!  This is the first EcoTools brush that I have tried and now I am interested in trying out a few more.  Retails for $8.99 CAD.

And finally Real Techniques mini miracle complexion sponges, so brightly coloured!  If you are a fan of the regular Real Techniques Blending sponge, than I think you may just like the minis.   The mini sponges are the same shape as the regular, just mini sized!  Real Techniques has on the package that these are great for on the go, but to me they look to be similar to the Micro Beauty Blenders.  I use the Micro Beauty Blenders for blending out my under eye area.  These look to be a bit bigger than the Micro ones so they may be a great size for cream contour?  Retails for $15.90 CAD.
