New In For April 2018

I have been trying to really think about what I am picking up each month, my sister is helping with telling me that I probably don't really need that!  I am happy with what what came in over the course of the past month.  Doing these New In for each month is helping as well,  I can see what I am picking up and if I am really using it.

I was lucky to be chosen to participate in the L'Oreal Glam Sense box last month.  I received quite a few goodies to try out, some good and some not so good for me.  If you want to see what I thought on the products I was sent I wrote a post on it and you can check it out here

I was happy to find out that the coupon for a full size mascara of my choice from the SDM Mascara Sampler from 2016 was still valid!  I wasn't to sure that it would be after a year and a half!  I choose the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara as it just worked the best out of the ones that were in the sampler for me.  I also liked a few other ones that were in the set but I do frequently get deluxe sizes of them.  If you'd like to check out my thoughts on all the products from that box you can check it out here.

The Walart closest to my house finally had the other new Wet N Wild palette that I was interested in trying out, Not A Basic Peach is another more neutral palette with a pop of blue.  I haven't tried this out to much yet but from what I have tried its not bad!  Especially for under $10.00.

That Tatcha sample was the reason for this order pre Sephora sale, not to mention I had used a shade completely in the Basics palette and it was on sale!

I placed a Sephora order before the Spring sale for 2 things....one being a sample offer!  There was a sample offer to chose 2 deluxe samples and one of them was the new Tatcha primer that I have seen great reviews for, the other sample I chose was the Drunk Elephant eye cream.  I saw that the UD Naked Basics palette was on sale for $18 and I had been eyeing the Kristen Leanne Daydream palette and it was on sale as well!  The 2 palettes put me at the $35.00 spend to get the samples so I didn't think anymore about it and ordered.  I also redeemed 100 points for the Laura Mercier Cavier Stick Eye Colour as I have been liking using the ones I have lately.

I was very restrained during the Spring Sephora sale and only picked up 2 things!  I have had a few samples of the Dior Forever foundation and really liked it but had a hard time spending over $60 for it! I finally found that Sephora had my shade and waited till the sale and than quickly picked it up.  The goodie bag for the first weekend of the Rouge event was very lacklustre....  I picked up the Bite Bag to try out the newer liquid lipstick formula, already knowing that I like the lip balm.

I finally got a haircut during the London Parkinsons A Hair Affair, a fundraiser here in London where for $40.00 you were able to get a shampoo, cut, and style.  This was the second time I have done this fundraiser and I have to say that Erin at Chatters in Masonville mall did a great job!  It was well worth the $40.00!!  Along with getting the hair cut you also received a goodie bag from Milk Shake, mine had the Milk Shake Beauty Mask Hair Mask.  It smells really good!  I will be trying it out soon!

What do you think of what was New for me in April?  Is there anything here that interests you, that you would like to read my thoughts on?  Let me know down below and I will get to it asap!
