Once again I didnt use up a lot of product, except make-up wipes!
Last month I seemed to jump around trying different products so I didn't use up much at all. I did use up a few deluxe samples which I am happy about. I really have to start to make a conscious effort to use up what I have sitting in drawers. Any hints on how to do that?!
I can't remember a month were I used so many wipes!
Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes - I usually use up a pack or so of these wipes in a month but in July I managed to use a full pack as well as a travel pack. I pick these up at Costco and they are good, especially for the price. Repurchase? Always.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths - This was the last package I had of these that I won in a giveaway last year I think? They were ok, not my favourite as I find that these wipes are actually quite small, almost half the size of the Kirkland. Repurchase? Doubt it.
Fluffs Cotton Pads - Another product that I use almost a package of a month! I pick these up at Dollarama for $1.25 for 100. I use them for toner, removing polish, etc. Great product at a great price. Repurchase? Always.
Origins Original Skin Cleansing Makeup Removing Jelly - I don't remember a lot about this foil sample, so it must not have wowed me much! Repurchase? Maybe?
Neat & Easy Deep Cleansing Green Tea Nose Strips x2 - I decided to try this out again after not having used them for quite awhile. I did find that they do clean out the pores on my nose really well, but I have noticed that the pores seem to get clogged again really quickly. I think I will finish up the package and than im not sure that I will buy them again. I have been finding that I am liking face masks more for cleaning out my pores. Repurchase? Undecided at the moment.
Briogeo Curl Charisma - I liked this Curl Cream quite a bit. It left my hair feeling very soft but not greasy whenever I used it and let my hair air dry, which I have to admit is all the time! I found that a little bit goes quite a long way as well, I was able to use this foil sample about 3 times and my hair is well past my shoulders. Repurchase? Maybe
Avène 3 in 1 make-up remover - The Avène makeup remover did a great job of breaking up my makeup at the end of the day without leaving to much of a greasy feeling on my face. My face never felt tight after using this at all. It was also fairly gentle on my eye area, I didn't have blurry eyes after having used it near them. Repurchase? I would consider it.
Eva-Nye Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer - Another new product that I liked! This came from the goodie bag I got at Gen Beauty last year and I found it to do a great job at detangling my hair after washing it. I did still need to use another product to enhance the wave in my hair but this did a great job as a leave in conditioner. Repurchase? Maybe
Clinique Pep-Start 2-in-1 exfoliating cleanser - I was surprised that I also liked this face exfoliater from Clinique. I haven't used much from Clinique facial care that I have liked besides my favourite DDM+! The Pep-Start face exfoliater does have quite a bit of grit to it but not scratchy feeling. My face felt so clean and smooth whenever I have used it. Repurchase? Maybe
For makeup products these 2 aren't technically used up, more like dried up and used up!
Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out - I got this in a Sephora Give Me Some Lip set from last year, I think? I didn't actually use this up, rather it dried up on me. I really like this shade a lot and am quite disappointed that it dried up so quickly on me. I know that I shouldn't keep liquid lip products for that long but I didn't use this really that much. It is completely dried out, I can't even swatch it to show you the color. Repurchase? Not sure, I like the shade but not the fact that it dried out quickly.
Quo Mini Blender Sponge - I think I have been using this sponge regularly for about 6 months? I picked up a set of 6 of these to see how they would compare to the Beauty Blender Mini Sponge. The good news, they are very comparable to the Beauty Blender micro blender. Bad news, I can't find them in stores anymore. Makes me wonder if the regular size Quo sponges are similar to the Beauty Blender? Maybe if I start liking using a sponge to apply foundation I will give them a try. For now I am glad that I have another 4 of the Quo mini sponges for applying concealer! Repurchase? If I could find them.
I didn't end up using many products up last month, but I did try to use up a few deluxe samples and succeeded in that! There are a few things I will pick up again and a few I doubt I will. I am surprised that I am not liking the nose strips anymore as I used to use them quite regularly, at least regularly for me! Do you have any tips on how to use up samples?! I think I need some!
